My name is Anika and I've always loved drawing and capturing details through photography. As a child I loved sitting in the Picturebook-section of the library and dreaming about one day writing and illustrating a book of my own.

I've made up stories for my sisters at night, made little magazines with my nephews and nieces and began to write books on our little family PC, never finishing them, instead beginning a new story, as my head was overflowing with ideas.

I took one year of classes for Illustration at the (HKU) 'Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht', but didn't finish the rest of the years.

I stopped pursueing to become an illustrator and writer, and became something even more wonderful; a mother. I started picking up my sewing machine and began my little clothdoll shop (Puppa Dolls) and combined my love for fibers, colors, natural dyes, upcycling and illustrating there.
